HSP70 plays an ambiguous role during viral infections in plants

چکیده
Heat shock and almost all types of stresses associated with oxidative stress are accompanied by heat protein (HSP) expression. HSPs involved in refolding denatured proteins directing unrepairable for degradation. Thus, under conditions, help to restore cellular balance. However, virus-infected plants, HSP70 can have both positive negative effects because viruses usually recruit HSP70. promote the replication translation viral genome, formation complexes, propagation particles from cell throughout plant. HSP gene silencing various virus-host plants systems comparison susceptible resistant species shown that HSPs70 accelerate development infection. Conversely, during process known as thermotherapy, temperature increase inhibits some host virus systems. The success thermotherapy depends not only on treatment period or duration but also plant strain. In this review, we discuss ambiguous role play infections towards weighing balance between their functions.

Synthesis of minus-strand copies of a viral transgene during viral infections of transgenic plants.
Viral transgenes designed to provide resistance to specific plant viruses frequently consist of the coat protein gene and a contiguous 3' untranslated region (3'UTR) of viral origin. In many RNA viruses the viral 3'UTR establishes a recognition and initiation site for viral RNA replication. Thus the transgenic transcript may contain a functional virus replication site. Experiments were designed...
متن کاملProcoagulant activity during viral infections.
The abundance of evidence suggest that inflammation of immune and non-immune cells may lead to an imbalance of the pro- and anti-coagulant state during viral infections. During systemic infections, the endothelium plays a critical role in regulating hemostasis, and severe imbalances of endothelial function and activation can contribute to organ failure. Viral infections may elevate plasma level...
متن کاملNeutrophil Apoptosis During Viral Infections
Apoptosis, or programmed cell death, is a highly conserved cellular suicide mechanism. Apoptosis is critical to the effective resolution of inflammation, particularly in regulating the lifespan of neutrophils. Neutrophils are key components of the first line of defense against microorganisms. Thus, subversion of this critical host defense mechanism by pathogens can contribute to susceptibility ...
